Kacper Kucharski

 

From a very young age, Kacper Kucharski has been heavily involved in music. Starting off with school musicals as a youngster, to playing Theatre Shows and Music Venues across Ireland. Kacper cut his teeth on the local bar circuit where he was soon spotted and invited to join larger touring shows covering the whole island of Ireland. He now spends his time between an Irish touring band and blues session gigs. 

 

Born in Poland and Raised in Ireland, Kacper grew up in a family filled with music, from AC/DC to Metallica. However it was the first time he heard Queen that inspired him to pick up a guitar, he knew right away that he wanted to become a professional guitarist. Purchasing his first acoustic guitar shortly after his discovery, he started teaching himself how to play simple chords and leads. Being limited on the acoustic led Kacper to the purchase of his first electric guitar, which progressed his playing and his knowledge of music at a rapid pace. 

 

As Kacper grew older, his music tastes began to change. As he dug deeper into the roots of his favourite bands, he discovered The Blues. From that moment, Kacper has spent the majority of his time playing The Blues and discovering legends such as SRV and Hendrix. It wasn’t long until Kacper stumbled upon the rich catalogue of the Allman Brother, which kicked off his love for  Southern Rock and very quickly came to be his most influential genre. With his discovery of Southern Rock, Kacper quickly began to learn about Country Music, which can be heard as an influence on a lot of Southern Rock tracks. From that point, Kacper already being an appreciated Blues Guitarist, he dug into learning country chops to broaden his guitar skills and flexibility as a guitarist. 

 

Already gigging with a few acts, Kacper went onto playing session gigs with The Paddy Smith Blues Band across Theatres in Ireland. From that point, his guitar playing lifestyle and work life began to clash, leading Kacper to make the choice of trying his best to do music full time. In the spare time he had, Kacper went on to do a course in Live Sound Engineering and Stage Productions to further his knowledge of sound scapes in music and gaining a better understanding of the music industry. 

 

Now being an established guitarist in Ireland and referred to as a “Great” by many musicians across the country. Kacper wants to take his journey abroad to further his career in music and gain more musical experience to fulfil his musical dreams.
